Hello and welcome! I’m Maria – a storyteller and artist based in Lichfield, in the Midlands of England. I create unique and memorable storytelling shows for adults and work as a performer, educator and workshop facilitator. I am a registered Artsmark practitioner and a trained creative mentor, specialising in trauma informed practice.
Storytelling
Working orally and unscripted, I rework ancient stories for modern audiences. I work with theatres, heritage organisations, festivals, schools, private and community groups. I can help you to bring myths and legends to life at your school, to celebrate special occasions with friends, and to provide unforgettable experiences for listeners. Previous clients include The Royal Shakespeare Company, Festival at the Edge and many national and international festivals. Art
I also work as an artist and art teacher, designing and delivering high quality art workshops for groups of all ages. Originals and prints of my work are available for purchase.
